Privacy
Effective date: October 14, 2026
ScaleStack Lab receives messages sent through our contact form and WhatsApp messages sent to our business number. We use them to reply to that conversation. We do not sell them. Email info@scalestacklab.com to ask for deletion.
This page explains what information Operator Ventures LLC, doing business as ScaleStack Lab ("we", "us") collects, why, who handles it, and how you can ask us to delete it. We are based in Arizona, USA. Contact: info@scalestacklab.com.

1. WhatsApp messages
When you message our business number on WhatsApp (for example via a QR code or a Facebook link), we receive:
your WhatsApp phone number and profile name;
the messages, and any files or media, you send us;
message timestamps and delivery status.
We use this only to read and reply to your conversation and to follow up on the request you made. Our system sends an internal notification about new messages to our team chat (self-hosted). We do not use your WhatsApp messages for advertising, and we do not sell them.
WhatsApp is provided by Meta. Meta processes messages under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy and https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-terms.

2. Contact form
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, a description of what you need, and your consent choice, plus the date and time you sent it. We use it to respond to your inquiry.

3. How you reached us (QR codes, Facebook and other links)
If you arrive from a QR code, a Facebook or Instagram post or ad, or another link, the link may contain a tag (such as a "utm" code) telling us which flyer, post, or campaign brought you. We use this only to see which outreach works. It is not linked to your name unless you then send us the contact form or a message.

4. Website, cookies, and Google Analytics
Essential cookies. Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix sets essential cookies and collects technical data (such as IP address, browser and device type) needed to run the site and keep it secure. These are always on. See Wix's policies: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.
Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 G-HSKLFBX8BF to understand how visitors use the site. It loads only after you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. We use Google consent mode with analytics set to "denied" by default, so no Google Analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics before you accept. If you accept, Google Analytics collects:
pages you view and how you move between them;
device and browser type;
approximate location (city/region/country), derived from your IP address;
the referring site and any campaign tag (UTM) in the link you used.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. It sets these cookies (through Google):
_ga: distinguishes visitors; up to 2 years, or as set in our Google settings.
_ga_<container-id>: keeps session state; up to 2 years, or as set in our Google settings.
How Google uses data from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices. When you first visit, a banner lets you "Accept" or "Reject" analytics cookies. Both buttons are equally prominent. If you reject or ignore it, Google Analytics does not load. You can change your choice at any time with the small cookie icon in the bottom corner of every page, which reopens the banner. You can also block cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or ad trackers.

5. Who handles your data (service providers)
Meta / WhatsApp — delivers WhatsApp messages to us (WhatsApp Business Cloud API).
Wix — hosts our website and its essential cookies.
Usercentrics — runs our cookie banner and stores your consent choice.
Google (Google Analytics 4) — website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
DigitalOcean — hosts our self-hosted servers (automation and team chat) in San Francisco (SFO2), United States.
Google Workspace — our email (info@scalestacklab.com), used to reply to you and handle data requests.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or safety.

6. How long we keep it
WhatsApp conversations and notifications: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them for an active project.
Contact form submissions: up to 24 months.
Wix essential cookies: according to Wix's settings.
Google Analytics data: 14 months; _ga cookies up to 2 years, or as set in our Google settings.
Copies held by Meta/WhatsApp follow WhatsApp's own retention policies.

7. Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the EU/UK), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent (including your analytics cookie choice). We extend these rights to everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email info@scalestacklab.com with the subject "Data request" and include the phone number or email you used. We will confirm and respond within 1 business day. You can also stop messaging us at any time, and you can block or delete our chat in WhatsApp.

8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including keeping our servers access-restricted. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
